Secret English Support
Stuck on a kana, or a purchase didn't land? Most answers are below. If not, send a note and a real person will get back to you.
What's free?
Lessons 1 and 2, the Board, and the Narita Arrivals signs you can read with them are free forever. Everything else — every later lesson, Review, the games and every Sign Walk scene — comes with Unlock Forever. Your progress is never deleted.
What does Unlock Forever cost?
One price, once, shown in the app in your own currency. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.
I bought it but it's still locked
Open the You tab and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. Family Sharing works for Unlock Forever too.
I can't hear the Japanese
The app uses your iPhone's built-in Japanese voice. If none is installed it shows romaji instead. To add one: Settings › Accessibility › Spoken Content › Voices › Japanese.
